Kaufman Homes recently completed remodeling our new (to us) home. We had our master bath, kitchen and family room totally updated, including interior painting throughout.
Our experience with Kaufman’s – specifically – Kent Kaufman was exceptional. He treated our remodeling project as if it was being done on his home. All the sub-contractors were equally, exceptional. Each, again, treated our project as if it was their home. We had a particularly tight deadline for completion of the remodel and were especially pleased that Kent made sure that the deadline was met.
As in all projects of this type, communication between the client, contractor, and sub-contractors is a critical key to its success. Kent exceeded our communication expectations in every way. He was very responsive to our phone calls and also kept us up to date on how our remodel was moving along.
We found Kent to be a man of impeccable integrity as were all the sub-contractors and would not hesitate to engage Kaufman Homes to complete any future home project.

Kaufman Homes provided design/build services for our new home. The entire Kaufman Team did a phenomenal job of designing and building our home. Our home is beautiful, elegant and efficient. The entire design/build process was a rewarding experience.

The Kaufman construction manager and sub-contractors were all diligent to provide a safe, clean and orderly job site. In relocating back to Salem and looking to purchase a home, we focused on Kaufman built houses. We looked at other houses as well, but none of them matched the build quality that we experienced when walking through houses built by the Kaufman brothers. We happily ended up in a Kaufman house that was built in 1986. We LOVE the house and are currently trying to undue the years of damage and neglect imposed on it by the former owner. We imagine being in this house for a very long time and are grateful to the Kaufmans and their team for the loving craftsmanship and heart with which they built our home.
